    Greetings! Welcome to another Friday and to the latest dispatch from your Coast Star Connection! How is it that Labor Day Weekend is here and that summer as we tend to think of it is practically over?

    The team behind four new luxury homes to be built off Captain Thomas Road is promising the residences will be something new and needed in Ogunquit.

    As he clutched a shovel for the project’s groundbreaking ceremony on Aug. 22, Rock Bisson, the general contractor and president of Generation Homes in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, offered a vision for what the future owners of the new homes can expect.

    Charged with Terrorizing

    A local man is facing charges of terrorizing and reckless conduct after he allegedly fired a gun at a neighbor and two boats at York Beach on Aug. 23.

    In RSU 21, contract talks continue

    District and union officials in RSU 21 met for the first time with a mediator last week to resume their negotiations for a new teachers' contract and try to resolve their differences, but "nothing was concluded," RSU 21 Spokesperson Matthew Shinberg said on Wednesday.

    Both sides, the RSU 21 School Board and the Kennebunk Arundel Kennebunkport Educators' Association, will resume their talks during their next meeting, scheduled for Monday, Sept. 16.

    The teachers' current contract expires on Aug. 31.

    Man after after alleged crime spree

    A Sanford man is facing numerous charges, including ones related to burglary and drugs , following his arrest by the Scarborough Police Department on Monday.

    Everything is so overpriced no normal working person can afford to pay for it and eventually there’s no housing available for workers and they move farther away from work so they are commuting to work from a far distance .
