    Tuesday Seacoast Roundup: Winnacunnet, Dover, Exeter girls all post Division I shutouts

    HAMPTON - Mia Lantaigne and Isla Christie each had two goals and one assist as the Winnacunnet High School girls soccer team beat Nashua South, 6-0 on Tuesday in a Division I match.

    Sophia Guimaraes and Liana Pacheco also scored a goal for the Warriors, who improved to 2-0.

    Guimaraes, Taylor Burness, and Maitri Clifford all had an assist for the Warriors, while sophomore goalie Julianne Banks had three saves, earning the shutout.

    Exeter 5

    Salem 0

    SALEM - Lauren Roeder's three goals led Exeter to this Division I victory. Lexi Rogers and Quinn Latimer also scored a goal for the Blue Hawks.

    Rogers, Harper Levitsky and Mia Albertelli all had an assist in the win. Exeter's Hannah Outhouse and Ellie Tuttle split time in goal, sharing the shutout.

    Dover 13

    DOVER - Freshman Avianna McCormick had three goals for Dover (2-0) in this Division I match. In total, the Green Wave saw eight different goal scorers.

    St. Thomas Aquinas 5

    Prospect Mountain 0

    ALTON - Reece Anderson and Mallory Baker both had two goals for St. Thomas Aquinas in a Division III match.

    Maia Scanlon added one goal and one assist for the Saints, while Anderson, Ansley Ball and Charlotte De Tolla all had one assist.

    STA goalie Genna Bolduc had four saves.

    Somersworth 7

    Hinsdale 0

    SOMERSWORTH - Hannah Pincince had four goals, Sophia Gaboury two, and Natalia Faustino one for Somersworth in this Division IV win.

    Pincince added three assists for the Hilltoppers, while Sophia Gaboury and Maci Garcia both had one. Teammates Jazlyn Soto, Taylor Cafelle, Claire Ducluzeau, Kira Noyce and Isabella Tibbetts all played well.

    NASHUA - Woodly Jean-Baptiste had two goals and Gar Hindle and Pat Bancroft each had one for Portsmouth (2-0) in this Division I match.

    Exeter 2

    SALEM - Jaden Gagiulo and Marshall Lasewicz both had a goal for Exeter (2-0) in its Division I match. Finn Tipitzer and Jack Blythe both had an assist for the Blue Hawks, and goalie Alex Fooa had three saves.

    Nashua South 5

    Winnacunnet 0

    NASHUA - Goalie Sully Duffy had 11 saves for Winnacunnet (0-2) in a Division I match. Sam Souther, Clive Newman and Cael Gaspar all played well for the Warriors.

    Prospect Mountain 1

    St. Thomas Aquinas 0

    DOVER - Goalie Ben Puertas had 10 saves for St. Thomas Aquinas in a Division III loss.

    FIELD HOCKEY

    Concord 4

    Portsmouth 0

    PORTSMOUTH - Goalie Reese McCauley had 16 saves for the Clippers in this Division I loss. Defensively, Emily Frank and Julia McGeorge played well.

    Lilly Merrill had two goals for Concord, while Elliana Wing and Amy Derochers both had one.

    GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

    Poulin leads Dover to win at invitationa l

    KINGSTON - Anique Poulin crossed the finish line in a time of 19 minutes, 42 seconds, leading Dover to a first-place finish at the eight-team Jamie Martin Invitational at Sanborn High School.

    Dover had a team score of 34, while Windham was second at 56.

    The Green Wave had six runners in the top 11, including Sadie Wagoner (sixth, 20:50), Janelle Poulin (eighth, 21:11), Lily Fiorenza (ninth, 22:03) and Lily Glode (tied for 10th, 22:08) and Emily Nute (tied for 10th, 22:08).

    BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

    LaBranche helps Newmarket to fourth-place finish

    KINGSTON - Jaron LaBranche placed fourth overall in a time of 17:17, leading Newmarket to a third-place finish at the nine-team Jamie Martin Invitational at Sanborn High School.

    Windham (51) and Hollis-Brookline (76) placed first and second, respectively, while Newmarket (133) was fourth. Winnacunnet's Andrew Martin-Briggs placed seventh (17:36), while Dover freshman Max Winn was 12th overall (18:27).

    GOLF

    Fennessy leads Dover to three-team sweep

    DOVER - Carys Fennessy shot a 1-over-par 36 as Dover had a team score of 201, beating Londonderry (215) and Nashua South (232) at Cocheco Country Club.

    Ben Zbikowski shot a 38 for the Green Wave, while Des Fennessy had a 41, Tyler Buchanan 42 and Michael Gorman 44.

    Winnacunnet sweeps season-opener

    LOUDON - Jimmy Schouller carded a 1-over-par 37 for Winnacunnet in a three-team win at Loudon Country Club.

    Winnacunnet had a team score of 206, beating St. Thomas Aquinas (227), Merrimack Valley (229) and Kennett (243).

    Chris Berry had a 38 for the Warriors, while Elliott Brinser had a 43, and Greyson Belliveau and Alex Santora both had a 44.

    Portsmouth places second in three-team match

    HOLLIS - Grey Gagnon shot a 2-over-par 37 for Portsmouth in a three-team match at The Overlook Golf Club.

    Bow won the match with a team score of 199, while Portsmouth (203) and Hollis-Brookline (239) placed second and third, respectively.

    Other scorers for Portsmouth included Turner Leduc (39), Thijs Beelen (41), Gus Baker (42) and Grant Haberstroh (44),
