    DOVER - Briggs Catino had two goals as the Portsmouth High School boys soccer team beat Dover, 5-2 on Friday in a Division I game.

    Portsmouth improved to 4-3-1, while Dover is 0-6-3.

    Woodley Jean-Baptise, Will Dedeus and Hillel Haytene all had one goal for the Clippers. Portsmouth goalie Nico Cuhna had two saves.

    Marshwood 0

    WINDHAM, Maine - Goalie Carter Shaw had eight saves for Marshwood in its Class A South loss.

    MANCHESTER - Genna Bolduc had six saves for St. Thomas (7-0-1) in this Division III tie.

    SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - Eva Hersey scored for Marshwood in its Class A South loss.

    AMHERST - Eliza Farwell had three goals and Rowynn Pickering had one for Oyster River in a Division II win. Nora Rogrs and Sadie McLeod both had an assist for the Bobcats.

    VOLLEYBALL

    MANCHESTER - Alaina Hathaway had nine kills and six digs for STA in its Division II win.

    Individual set scores were 25-9, 25-22, 25-16.

    Jules Stowell (21 assists, six digs), Kaity Kelly (seven kills) and Taylor Brown (six kills) shined for the Saints.

    Portsmouth Christian Academy 3

    Farmington 1

    FARMINGTON - Quinn Arico's 15 kills, 12 assists and six aces helped PCA (6-1) to this Division III win.

    Individual set scores were 25-24, 25-20, 24-26, 25-13.

    Lexi Jordan added 11 assists and 20 digs for the Eagles, while Heidi Geyer (10 kills, 10 digs), Emma Eisner (20 digs) and Caroline Braman (five blocks) starred.

    PORTSMOUTH - Willow Weirbonics had two goals, and Amara Boyer, Mabel Armstrong, Caroline Berling and Charlotte Virgin all had one for Portsmouth.
