    Fentanyl bust: Lawrence man faces charges after undercover operation in Seabrook

    SEABROOK — A Lawrence, Massachusetts, man is facing charges for allegedly selling fentanyl on the Seacoast, including distributing 200 grams to undercover officers.

    Tommy Manuel Pimentel-Santos, 36, was arrested Monday on the charge of one count of distribution of the controlled drug. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday, Oct. 8, in the Hampton Circuit District Court.

    Seabrook Police Chief Brett Walker said the arrest comes on the heels of a months-long undercover investigation into the sale of fentanyl by Seabrook police and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

    Police allege Pimentel-Santos was a supplier of the drug to the Seacoast area.

    Pimentel-Santos was taken into custody Monday without incident.

    Walker said police expect more charges will be filed in the case. It was not immediately known if Pimentel-Santos has an attorney.

    “The Seabrook Police Department remains committed to enforcing drug laws and targeting those distributing the deadly drug, fentanyl," said Walker. "These criminals are not constrained by borders, and this case highlights our successful partnerships with local and federal law enforcement agencies.”

    Walker said Seabrook police was also assisted in the investigation by Hampton police.
