Alright, it's official. The whales are out for revenge. As humans, we've always known that traveling by sea means we're sharing the water with Mother Earth's largest creatures. It's scary that we know more about space than we do the ocean, and if you've never thought about that, you really should. I always wonder if that's because we're just too preoccupied with space travel, or if we really don't want to find out what lies deep beneath the ocean's waves. One thing that we do know lives deep in the sprawling seas is the massive sea beast known as... the whale. In case you didn't know, the marine mammal species accounts for all 10 of the top 10 heaviest animals in the world. This appears to be a young humpback whale, which can grow up to 60 feet, and weigh up to 80,000 pounds. That's a whopping 40 tons for those that aren't great with quick math. So with that being said, it wouldn't take a lot for a whale to exert its dominance if it wanted to. For a long time, there's never been an issue between the giants in the ocean and are man-made vessels. But sometime last year, when all the
killer whales started targeting boats , the treaty between whales and humans were thrown out the window. That's incredibly evident in this video, which shows a whale off the coast of Portsmouth, New Hampshire blasting out of the sea and slamming down on the back end of a smaller fishing boat. There was nothing the single engine vessel could do to stay afloat. Once the whale came down with a thud on the stern, it capsized and started taking on water fast. Fortunately, there were some other boats in the area, so hopefully the souls that were aboard the sunken ship were able to swim to safety and escape with their lives. As for their fishing boat... I don't think it's salvageable after what happened with this whale. The kid in the Dayton hoodie also delivers a priceless "uh oh" reaction.. you can just see the panic on his face. https://twitter.com/cornelldolanpc/status/1815786595120803947
