    James Day joins Northwestern Mutual

    PORTSMOUTH — James Day has joined leading financial security company Northwestern Mutual – Portsmouth, N.H. as financial representative, effective May 31, 2024.

    In his new role, Day will join a team of specialists offering an array of products. In offering comprehensive financial planning, he will provide expert guidance and innovative solutions for a variety of financial needs and goals.

    Before joining Northwestern Mutual, Day was a Project Coordinator at Alto Ingredients, Inc. in Peoria, Illinois.

    Day resides in Rowley Massachusetts. Day is a native of Greenwich, Connecticut. He graduated in 2022 from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts with his bachelors degree in Communications.

    Day holds his Life and DI license in New Hampshire.

    Traynor Cully Promoted to Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer for MVSB

    ROCHESTER — MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank) is proud to announce that Traynor Cully has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. Based in Rochester, he will continue to work closely with local businesses and nonprofits on their commercial lending needs.

    Traynor joined MVSB in 2022 as Commercial Loan Officer, bringing more than five years of banking, commercial and small business lending experience to the position. He was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer in 2023. Traynor is active in the community as a member of the Alton Business Association, vice president of Seacoast Trail Riders and serving on the board for Rochester Rotary as well as Great Falls Development Corporation of Somersworth.

    Traynor resides in New Durham with his wife Ashley and daughter Parker, and he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, dirt biking, spending time with family and supporting local businesses.

    Ashlie Peters joins Seacoast Village Project as Volunteer Manager

    PORTSMOUTH — The Seacoast Village Project has hired Ashlie Peters as volunteer manager.

    Founded in 2018 and based on a national Village Movement model of neighbor-helping-neighbor, the Seacoast Village Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making “aging in place” a reality by supporting the social, educational, and practical needs of older adults living independently.

    In her new role, Peters will directly oversee the Village’s volunteer program including recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers; planning, assigning, and directing volunteer workload; as well as addressing issues and resolving problems. Peters will both ensure the coordination of volunteer services to the Villages 230 current members while also developing and implementing plans to meet future membership needs.

    Prior to joining Seacoast Village Project, Peters served most recently as program coordinator at the Krempels Center in Portsmouth. Peters is a former Speech Language Pathologist and brings a wide array of both professional and volunteer experience, as well as community connections, to her new position.
