Heat advisory in effect for Evansville area on Tuesday
After a bit of a break from the heat and humidity on Monday, summertime weather returns with a vengeance on Tuesday. The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for most of Southern Illinois, as well as Gibson, Posey and Vanderburgh counties in Southwestern Indiana and the Purchase Area of Western Kentucky. POSEY CO., Ind. (WFIE) - Posey County officials say a Mount Vernon man will serve time in prison after being convicted of multiple drug charges. According to a press release, 42-year-old Joshua Walden has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges that include dealing meth, possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance.
