National Weather Service releases preliminary strength estimates on Tuesday tornadoes
The final details aren't in yet, but the National Weather Service has preliminary estimates on the strength of two of Tuesday's tornadoes. The weather service said preliminary data indicates the first of the tornadoes, in Union County, Kentucky, was an EF1 on the Enhanced Fujita scale. The damage, near Grove Center, was caused by peak winds of 105 mph. No injuries were reported there.
