Recently, the organization has faced financial challenges due to a decrease in adoptions, post-pandemic return to the office, and a surge in popularity of “designer” pets from breeders. This has led to an increase in shelter populations. In contrast, inflation and rising wages increase the cost of care, putting the humane society’s ability to maintain the same level of service at risk, according to a...
Don’t Miss When Comic Con Comes to the Magic Valley This Summer
Comic cons are typically known as nerd conventions, but with the popularity of Star Wars, Superhero movies and television shows, and video games, more and more people identify as a nerd. Over the last decade, many different types of cons have begun popping up everywhere, including smaller comic cons across the United States. Idaho is home to Gem State Comic Con in Boise each year, but it is finally time for the Magic Valley to get its own comic con, and this year that is finally happening.

The Christians believe God-fearing people in the Magic Valley need to make a statement and offer an alternative for people looking for answers in tarot cards, palm readings, and soothsayers.
