Last Thursday, officers from various agencies across Texas traded in their handcuffs for menus to support a noble cause at the Law Enforcement Torch Run, participating at Texas Roadhouse locations. In an effort that seems to be becoming a heartwarming tradition, these officers doubled as servers to collect tips for Special Olympics Texas, an organization that fuels the athletic dreams of those with intellectual disabilities.
