Ground broken on new library for Inkom community
INKOM — Work will soon begin on a new library for a community that has gone without. The South Bannock Library District held a groundbreaking on Thursday for a future library in Inkom, located at of Holstein Street and Old Highway 30 in the corner of the Inkom Elementary School playground. A 46-year-old local woman was recently arrested after police say she entered the home of another local woman and removed items from the residence. Kellogg settles two First Amendment lawsuits
The Kellogg School District has settled civil lawsuits with a former student and a former employee. The separate lawsuits stem from a student assembly from the spring of 2023, when graduating senior Travis Lohr said, “Guys are guys and girls are girls. There is no in-between.” Lohr was barred from the school’s commencement ceremony.
Redfish Lake Recreation Complex set to reopen in stages after Bench Lake Fire closed the area
BOISE, Idaho — The Redfish Lake Recreation Complex, that was recently threatened by wildfires, is starting to reopen. Located within the Sawtooth National Recreation Area (SNRA), the complex will open in phases, with the first one starting on Friday.
