REDDING, Calif. — If you’re looking for a new furry friend, right now is the time to go down to the Haven Humane Society for their paw-some event. From now until July 31, the Haven Humane Society in Redding is hosting an “Empty the Shelter” event where all adoption fees are waived. Normally these fees can be as much as $135 for a young animal or zero for an elderly animal. The shelter takes care of microchips, spaying or neutering, and all vaccines they are eligible for.
