Father of 3-year-old dumped at recycling plant died by suicide in SF, police say
A day before the body of a 3-year-old Fremont girl turned up at a recycling plant in San Jose this past weekend, police say, her father took his own life in San Francisco. Ellie Chinaza Obi Lorenzo was reported missing Friday afternoon after her mother heard about the suicide, according to a news release the San Jose Police Department sent on Monday.

McNab Fire in Ukiah Fully Contained at 10-Acres
Forward progress has been stopped on a 10-acre fire in Ukiah. The McNab fire sparked late Sunday morning in the 800 block of McNab Ranch Road. Thankfully, firefighters stopped forward progress of the blaze within an hour and then began clean up efforts just another hour later. There were no injuries or property damage and the cause is under investigation.
