    Man wanted for alleged gun theft in Monroe County

    STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Stroud Area Regional Police Department says they (SARPD) are searching for a man who took a gun from an indoor shooting range.

    Police stated Lawrence Handlovic, 34, of Pottstown, used a gun in an indoor shooting range and left the store through an alarmed exit door with the firearm.

    According to the SARPD, Handlovic was living in Pottstown but they now believe he could be staying somewhere in the Nazareth.

    The public is warned not to approach Handlovic as he is considered armed and dangerous.

    Anyone with information on Handlovic’s whereabouts is asked to call the Monroe County Control Center by dialing 911.
