    Victoria Isaacson competes at Paris Paralympics: See epee individual results, how to watch

    Victoria Isaacson, a Poughkeepsie native competing in the Paris Paralympics for wheelchair fencing, finished the last day of individual competitions Friday morning.

    The 26-year-old hand therapist at Ivy Rehab, a fencing coach at The Phoenix Center, competed in the wheelchair fencing women's individual event.

    Friday, Sep. 6 results: women's individual epee

    Isaacson competed in the women's individual epee competition at 3 a.m. EST, 9 a.m. in Paris.

    In the Women's Epee Category A Table of 32 round, Isaacson lost to Rayssa Veras of Brazil by three points, 15-12.

    How to watch the women's epee U.S. team event Saturday

    Wheelchair fencing events in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games began Tuesday, Sept. 3 and are being streamed live on Peacock. The last day of wheelchair fencing is Saturday, where the U.S. women's epee team will compete.

    Saturday at 4 a.m. EST, 10 a.m. in Paris, Isaacson will compete alongside teammates Ellen Geddes and Jataya Taylor in the Women's Epee Team Table of 16 against the Chinese team.

    Depending on how the U.S. women's wheelchair fencing team does in this first round, they may make it to the quarterfinals, which are set for later that day at 5:30 a.m. EST, 11:30 a.m. in Paris. The event’s semifinals , followed by the and women’s medal bouts, continue on during the day Saturday.
