Matchstick Productions Releases Trailer for 2024 Film 'Calm Beneath Castles'

The first snow of the season has been reported at Banff Sunshine Village, Canada, and Matchstick Productions (MSP) has just released the trailer for their 2024 feature film Calm Beneath Castles. In our book, that's a match made in heaven. Check out the trailer below.

Calm Beneath Castles is another annual installment into MSP's ever-growing catalog of world-class ski movies. There are some familiar faces, newcomers, old stomping grounds and remote locations sprinkled throughout. Check out the details below:

Calm Beneath Castles stars the following athletes: Sam Kuch, Michelle Parker, Dennis Ranalter, Colby Stevenson, Jess Hotter, Craig Murray, Janelle Yip, John Collinson, Coline Ballet-Baz, Mark Abma, Ari Tricomi, Sam Cohen, Nadine Wallner, Eric Hjorliefson, Finn Bilous, Emily Childs, Karl Fostvedt, Gen Sasaki, Stinius Skjøtskift, Xander Guldman, Cole Richardson, Marcus Goguen, Max Palm, Manon Loschi.

Calm Beneath Castles was filmed at the following locations: Hokkaido, JPN; Chatter Creek, BC; Whistler, BC; Waddington, BC (Bella Coola Heli Sports); Haines, AK (Stellar Heli Skiing); Arlberg, AUS; Obertauern, AUS; Sugarbowl, CA; Elko, NV;Monument Ranch, UT.

Like any MSP film, there will be hundreds of screenings at local theaters, ski resorts, and other ski-friendly locales across the country. Stay tuned for the full list of tour stops to be announced soon. The film will debut on October 6th, 2024 in Crested Butte, Colorado and Innsbruck, Austria.
