Reggae Fest Coming to Zion, Sept. 20–21

This summer (late summer), Zion will play host to a reggae festival.

The Zion Reggae Festival will be Sept. 21–22 at the Zion Ponderosa Ranch & Resort—which isn't quite in the national park (it's in Orderville), but there's plenty of nature around there.

Among the line-up are Mike Love and the Full Circle, the Hip Abduction, Satsang, Nattali Rize, and others.

Here's some Mike Love and the Full Circle. This is not what some would call reggae, but it's excellent music, regardless. I like that Mike performs barefoot.

Zion Ponderosa Ranch & Resort has all the facilities, plus a selection of camping, hotel, and cabin rooms, and other lodging choices.

You can even stay in a Conestoga wagon. I recently read Rinker Buck's new book, The Oregon Trail , which explains the wagons of the old West. Fascinating read.
