    Vail Resorts Announces Summer Operations across all its Colorado Areas

    Vail Resorts yesterday announced summer operations schedules across its Colorado resorts: Beaver Creek, Breck, Crested Butte, Keystone, and Vail.

    There's no shortage of fun here. There might be a shortage of time so schedule your summer well. Here are the details:

    Beaver Creek Resort: June 15 – Sept. 29
    Open daily through Sept. 2, then base area activities Saturday & Sunday through Sept. 29.

    What’s New/Exciting: Village vibrancy expands with the Colorado Showcase! Building upon last summer’s new Beaver Creek Unplugged concert series, the resort is excited to add Colorado Showcase on Saturdays from June 15 – Sept. 15. Colorado Showcase will feature some of the state’s best artists in the heart of Beaver Creek Village.

    Can’t Miss Experiences:

    • Blues, Brews & BBQ kicks off summer over Memorial Day Weekend, where top pitmasters join local chefs to serve mouth-watering barbecue complemented by craft brews and live music.

    • Culinary offerings reach new heights this summer with three new MICHELIN Guide Recommended restaurants: Mirabelle, Splendido at the Chateau, and WYLD.

    • Championship golf courses at Beaver Creek Golf Club and Red Sky Golf Club await, with Red Sky Ranch named Colorado AvidGolf magazine’s Best Mountain Club.

    • Add a horseback ride through stunning aspen groves to Beano’s Cabin for five courses of elevated Colorado cuisine to your summer bucket list.

    Breckenridge: June 14 – Sept. 2
    The BreckConnect Gondola & Breckenridge Ski Resort are open daily through Labor Day.

    What’s New/Exciting: The Alpine Slide returns! After a summer off for the installation of the new Five SuperChair, the resort’s most popular signature summer activity, the Alpine Slide, is set to return to the activity lineup. The Gold Runner Mountain Coaster will also return to full operation this summer!

    Can’t Miss Experiences:

    • Accessible high alpine! Even if you aren’t an experienced hiker, you can easily access Breck’s high alpine environment and get more than 11,000 feet above-sea-level with a scenic ride on the Colorado SuperChair.

    • Alpine Camp: At the top of the Colorado SuperChair, take a free nature tour with an expert naturalist from the U.S. Forest Service, test your skills on the climbing wall or ropes course, or simply take in the view of Breck from new heights.

    • Town & Historic Main Street: Explore more than 200 restaurants, bars and shops throughout historic downtown Breck. The free BreckConnect Gondola makes it easy to connect between the town and the resort.

    Crested Butte Mountain Resort: June 8 – Sept. 29
    Open daily through Labor Day, then Saturdays & Sundays through Sept. 29.

    What’s New/Exciting: Explore the mountain via e-bike! For the first time ever, Class 1 e-bikes are permitted on Red Lady Express bike haul. 2024 will also be the first summer for Highlife Crust & Crafts, the all-new restaurant located in The Grand Lodge hotel. Highlife serves made-to-order and grab-and-go breakfast in the morning, and a variety of pizzas and draft brews in the afternoon and evenings, along with happy hour specials from 3 to 5 PM

    · Can’t Miss Experiences:

    • Entering its second season is the resort's new mountain biking trail, Sharpshooter! The intermediate trail splits off from Downtime and leads to the base of Red Lady Express, with several small-to-medium sized jumps along the way.

    • Twilight Hours will be held on Friday, June 28 and every Friday in July for hikers and bikers. During Twilight Hours, Red Lady Express spins until 7 pm.

    • The CBMR Summer Race Series Presented by Fox Racing returns on Twilight Fridays! Competitors test their downhill mountain biking skills on a different course each week.

    Keystone Resort: June 20 – Sept. 22
    Following opening weekend (June 20-23), operations are Thursdays through Mondays through Labor Day, then Saturdays & Sundays through Sept. 22.

    What’s New/Exciting: Snow Tubing! That’s right, summer snow tubing is back at Keystone, offering one of the hottest ways to cool down in the mountains this season. Located at the top of the River Run Gondola, Keystone’s summer snow tubing starts June 20 until the snow lasts.

    Can’t Miss Experiences:

    • River Run Gondola and the Keystone Bike Park offer Scenic views and downhill thrills, just a gondola ride away.

    • Keystone Golf provides 36 holes of championship golf in one idyllic setting.

    • Hop aboard a horse-drawn scenic or dinner wagon ride, or saddle up with a guided horseback ride at Keystone Stables.

    • Keystone Summer Festivals: Plan your summer visit around one of Keystone’s signature summer festivals for a uniquely Colorado weekend in the mountains. It all starts with the Bacon & Bourbon Festival June 22-23 and continues throughout the summer with events like Wine & Jazz, Beer & Bluegrass and Oktoberfest.

    Vail Mountain: June 14 – Sept. 29
    Open daily for activities and scenic lift rides through Sept. 2, then Friday - Sunday through Sept. 29.

    What’s New/Exciting: New this summer, in partnership with the Town of Vail and Toyota, the Arrabelle at Vail Square presents Lionshead Live. Centrally located in the heart of Lionshead Village at the base of Vail Mountain, this free music series is held every Thursday, beginning June 20 and ending August 29 from 6 to 8 PM

    Can’t Miss Experiences:

    • Spice Rack is a new advanced freeride trail located between Cub’s Way and Fred’s Lunch, featuring a spicy 704-foot elevation drop. This adds to Vail’s more-than 40 miles of bike trails, accessible by bike haul on Gondola One or Eagle Bahn Gondola.

    • The GoPro Mountain Games, held June 6 – 9 in Vail, is the country’s most celebrated festival of adventure sports. Gondola One will open Saturday & Sunday during the event.

    • The 10th is featuring uniquely themed pop-ups this summer, starting June 16 with a Father’s Day bluegrass BBQ, with later events July 21, Aug. 11, and Sept. 15.

    • Mountain-top outdoor activities continue all summer long at Adventure Ridge, with the Forest Flyer mountain coaster, summer tubing, the Little Eagle Zipline and more. Then, satiate your sweet tooth with a sundae from Simba’s Cafe.
