I love how attuned most people are to International Women's Day. Celebrated annually on March 8th, the day is a great way to recognize the impact the women around you have. And, if you identify as a woman, it's a fun way to celebrate that part of your identity.

Many local ski resorts recognized the work of women on this year's International Women's Day. See two tributes from Alta and Snowbird below.

Caption: "Every day at Snowbird, female employees push the boundaries of the ski industry as they maintain & operate our chairlifts, serve as first responders, facilitate life-changing experiences as guides & instructors, make someone’s day as Mountain Hosts and more. The best part? These women rip. Thank you to all of the women who make Snowbird #ADifferentBreed. We would not be the same without you."

Caption: "Join filmmaker Iz La Motte and artist Lexi Dowdall in their salute to Alta’s growing community of inspirational women.

This International Women’s Day we tip our hats to all the women of Alta, united by their love of skiing. The friendships formed and the connections forged are stories worth celebrating.

I love both of these tributes and the outpouring and love and support for women this past week. And I hope we can continue to recognize all of the people that make our worlds go around each and every day.
