The Utah Avalanche Center Now Offers A New Data Explorer Tool

The Utah Avalanche Center (UAC) provides daily avalanche forecasts for different ranges across the state of Utah as well as a consolidated place for avalanche observations, lots of educational opportunities, fun events around the state, and more. The UAC is a pretty critical resource in our community and the different resources they provide go a long way in helping skiers and riders make informed decisions about to recreate responsibly in the backcountry.

Now, the UAC is offering a new data explorer tool that maps observations across the state and allows you to better visualize what is going on in the snowpack. The reel below offers a visual of what this tool looks like and how it can be used.
