<body><div><p>This is the most wonderful time of year in Connecticut, the weather is perfect, the kids are back at school, and the crops have been harvested. The main events of the 2024 fair and festival season are happening over the next few weeks around our state, here's what's coming up.</p><p>My absolute favorite fall festival in all of Connecticut, for the past 8 years, is the <a href="https://garlicfestct.com/">Connecticut Garlic &amp; Harvest Festival at the Bethlehem Fairgrounds</a>. The 2024 event is happening Saturday(9am-6pm), and Sunday(9am-5pm), October 12-13, Tickets are cash only, $10 for adults, and $1 for kids under 12. The promoters and organizers of this event have truly selected relevant vendors, and I've discovered something new, delicious, or exciting every single year. I'm really looking forward to a fried corn on the cob and pickles from Spacey Tracey, and I love buying locally grown heirloom garlic, beef jerky, and fresh produce. You can enjoy seeing over 1,000 animals, 38 Special, a Monster truck show, and a demolition derby this year.
