CHEBEAGUE ISLAND -- The Maine Marine patrol recovered the body of an unidentified male from Casco Bay on Friday morning. Marine Patrol say they were notified by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office just after 9:00 a.m. Friday of a body in the water approximately 100 yards from the end of Indian Point Road on Chebeague Island.

Three People Were Found Dead in a House in Mechanic Falls
Police are Investigating after the bodies of three people were found in a home in Mechanic Falls. The deceased were discovered by Mechanic Falls Police Saturday afternoon and, at approximately 4:00, they asked for assistance from the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit. Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says the bodies were found in a home on Highland Avenue but have not commented on what sent the officers to the home originally.

The Presque Isle Fire Department said the fire happened around 2 am. Smoke detectors alerted the tenants to the blaze.
