Federal officials have approved Oregon’s request to offer free Medicaid services for addiction and some other services to people who are on the verge of being released from jail or prison, something that’s prohibited by federal law. Conflagration Act invoked for Durkee Fire in Eastern Oregon, now at 110K acres burned
Evacuations have been ordered for some Malheur County residents due to the Durkee Fire, which has grown to more than 110,000 acres burnt as of Sunday morning and 0% contained.
