Man arrested, charged with burglary after armed home invasion in Manor
AUSTIN, Texas — One man has been arrested and police are searching for another suspect after an armed home invasion in Manor in early July. According to the Austin Police Department (APD), Austin 911 operators received a call reporting two people with their faces covered armed outside a home in the 11200 block of Charger Way in Manor at around 11:30 p.m. on July 5. 5.0-magnitude earthquake hits Texas Friday morning
SCURRY COUNTY, Texas — Another earthquake hit West Texas Friday morning, causing tremors felt across the area. The United State Geological Survey initially reported the earthquake at 4.8 magnitude on the Richter scale at 9:28 a.m. Friday about 9.2 miles northeast of Hermleigh. Later, the agency said the mainshock of the event was registered at 5.0 on the Richter scale. It was then upgraded to a 5.1 magnitude by the USGS.
