A new sculpture is installed in downtown Terre Haute
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — As you pass by the Terre Haute Convention Center, you will see something new by its main entrance. The “I Heart Terre Haute” sculpture is something that was prototyped and tested at 35 events in the Terre Haute area over the last year and a half. After overwhelming positive feedback, the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce and Duke Energy teamed up to have this sculpture placed in front of the Terre Haute Convention Center.

Rose-Hulman’s Engineering Design Program Earns National Innovation Award
Terre Haute, In. – The Rose Hulman Engineering Design academic program has received the prestigious Innovation Award from the national ABET accreditation organization. This honor and its $10,000 prize recognize programs that have brought new dimensions to improve students’ technical educational experience. The Engineering Design program was created by Rose-Hulman faculty to provide students with skills to be perfectly suited for today’s rapidly changing, global job market. Past ABET Innovation Award recipients have included the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon, Villanova University College of Engineering’s Career Compass Program, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Robotics Engineering Program.
