Barton Co. Health Dept. asking public to complete mental health survey
One goal of the Barton County Health Department is determining the needs of county residents and assessing whether or not those needs are being met by area healthcare providers. Mental health remains one of the largest problem areas. Katelyn Sigler, public health educator at the health department, said that's less about resources and more about the public not knowing about those resources. WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A teenager has pleaded no contest in the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy inside a Wichita mall in 2022. The Sedgwick County district attorney's office said 18-year-old Te'bryis Robinson on Tuesday pleaded no contest to second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder and aggravated battery. He was originally charged with first-degree murder and criminal use of a weapon by a juvenile in the killing of killing of TrenJ'vious Hutton at Towne East Square on March 18, 2022.
