Judge: Pretrial Files in Jay Lee Murder Case to Remain Unsealed
OXFORD, Miss.—Lafayette County Circuit Court Judge Kelly Luther denied a joint motion on Thursday by attorneys on both sides to seal all pretrial filings in the capital-murder case against Sheldon “Timothy” Harrington, who is accused of killing Jimmie “Jay” Lee in 2022, a University of Mississippi student who planned to start graduate school in the fall. JSU receives grant to preserve historic hospital
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The Zachary T. Hubert Health Center at Jackson State University received a $198,564 grant from the National Park Service to preserve the building. The money will go towards a new roof and a new HVAC System.
