PRESCOTT, A.Z. (WNCT) — Flash flood warnings were in effect for areas of central Arizona as thunderstorms brought heavy rain on Sunday, July 14.

The National Weather Service (NWS) urged those in the Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, Mingus Mountain, Potato Patch campground, Antelope Park, and Fain Lake areas to seek shelter “immediately” as 40 mph wind gusts and hail moved over the region on Sunday evening.
