Preston County man charged with federal child pornography offenses, to be returned to WV from California
CLARKSBURG, W.Va (WDTV) - A man from Preston County has been indicted on charges of coercion and enticement of a minor for sex and child pornography. Stephen David Seeger, age 45 of Bruceton Mills, was allegedly communicating with a 13-year-old girl online. He allegedly persuaded her to create sexually explicit images and videos, and attempted to do the same with another victim, a 15-year-old female.

Retired Preston County school employees hold monthly meetings
EVANSVILLE, W.Va. — The Preston County Association of Retired School Employees held its monthly meeting on July 9 at the Evansville Community Building. Masontown man faces animal cruelty charges
MASONTOWN, W.Va. — A Masontown man has been charged after police say he hit a dog on the snout with a shovel and caused a serious injury. On July 12, deputies from the Preston County Sheriff’s Department were called to investigate a report of an injured dog at Plum Hill Terrace.
