Those who have walked or driven down Main Street in Russell Springs have noticed the new building being constructed over the last several weeks. Local business owner Terry Stephens is constructing a classic car museum on Main Street, to expand the showcase that he currently has at his museum off Lakeway Drive.
Fort Thomas Farmers Market to host kid’s market
The Fort Thomas Farmers Market will host its kid’s market on Wednesday, July 31, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fort Thomas Mess Hall. The kid’s market will feature 25 kid entrepreneurs who will sell what they have made or grown. Products from the kid’s market range from plants to jewelry and even slime. This is in addition to the 30-plus normal farmers and makers that the market boasts each week during the season.

PADUCAH — Kentucky’s latest truancy law requires that schools alert the county attorney’s office when a student has 15 or more unexcused absences. House Bill 611, which took effect this month, is meant to combat a rise in truancy throughout the state — where close to 30% of students were absent for 10% or more of the 2022-2023 school year.
