    Rib Lake, Prentice compete at Merrill

    The Rib Lake High School girls track and field team placed third, just 5.5 points from first place at the Bluejay Indoor Invitational at Merrill High School on March 28. Rhinelander won the event followed by Merrill in second, with Wittenberg-Birnamwood in fourth, Waupaca in fifth and the Prentice girls placed sixth.

    Rib Lake senior Olivia Lopez was a standout by placing in four girls events. She was first in the 50 meter dash and triple jump, and second in the 200 meter dash and the long jump.

    The Rib Lake boys placed fourth and the Prentice boys placed fifth. Waupaca won the boys event, followed by Rhinelander and Merrill in the top three, and Wittenberg-Birnamwood in sixth.

    GIRLS

    In the ​​girls shot put, Waupaca junior Josie Nickel was first with a mark of 30-9.50, according to the unofficial results posted by MileSplitWI. Rib Lake sophomore Isabelle Gumz was second at 30-0.50, and senior teammate Tessa Krause was fourth with 27-1. Prentice freshman Lauren Geiger was seventh at 23-5.50. Rib Lake sophomore Camryn Glenzer was ninth at 22-3, and Prentice freshman Rhiannan Swanson was 10th at 19-11.50.

    In the girls high jump, Prentice sophomore Kayla Gillett was first with a mark of 4-6. Rib Lake sophomore Hadassah Nelson tied for third at 4-4.

    In the girls pole vault, Merrill senior Jalie Severt was first with a mark of 7-6, followed by sophomore teammate Maddie Robbins, aldo with 7-6, and Rhinelander junior Brynn Teter in third at 6-0.

    In the girls long jump, Waupaca sophomore Molly Martens was first with a mark of 16-2.50. Rib Lake senior Olivia Lopez was second at 15-11, and sophomore teammate Emma Tlusty was third with 14-1. Rib Lake sophomore Isabelle Gumz was 10th. Prentice sophomore Breanna Swan was 14th, and freshman teammate Madison Holm was 15th.

    In the girls triple jump, Rib Lake senior Olivia Lopez was first with a mark of 33-4.50. Prentice sophomore Kayla Gillett was fifth at 26-10.

    Wittenberg-Birnamwood won the girls 4x765 meter relay with a time of 10:56.82. Rhinelander was second at 11:27.50, and Prentice was third at 11:29.95.

    In the girls 50 meter hurdles, Rib Lake sophomore Emma Tlusty was first with a time of 9.06, and sophomore teammate Isabelle Gumz was second with 9.28. Rib Lake freshman Maddie Rademacher was fourth at 9.50.

    In the girls 50 meter dash, Rib Lake senior Olivia Lopez was first with a time of 7.09. Freshman teammate Kloey Paul was seventh at 7.77.

    In the girls 1,600 meter run Waupaca junior Sienna Timm was first with a time of 5:52.50. Rhinelander freshman Kara Monk was second with 6:14.43, and Merrill freshman Charlotte Vandernest was third at 7:22.89.

    In the girls 4x228 meter relay, Wittenberg-Birnamwood was first with a time of 2:33.82. Merrill was second at 2:35.01. Waupaca was third with 2:37.85, and Prentice was fourth at 2:57.39.

    In the girls 400 meter dash, Wittenberg-Birnamwood freshman Harper Rogowski was first with a time of 1:06.71. Prentice sophomore Kylee Suess was fourth at 1:12.44. Rib Lake sophomore Anna Martin was eighth at 1:21.40, and Prentice freshman Rayne Klinger was ninth at 1:23.44

    Rib Lake placed first in the girls 4x152 meter relay with a time of 1:35.82. Rhinelander was second at 1:36.21. Merrill was third with 1:36.32. Wittenberg-Birnamwood was fourth at 1:37.10, and Prentice was fifth with 1:44.66.

    In the girls 800 meter run, Rhinelander junior Luciana Grage was first with a time of 2:55.44. Wittenberg-Birnamwood freshman Gabrielle Timm was second at 2:59.32, and Prentice junior Abby Schuetz was third with 2:59.66.

    In the girls 200 meter dash, Rhinelander sophomore Aila Bergmann was first with a time of 29.21. Rib Lake senior Olivia Lopez was second at 29.89. Rib Lake sophomore Emma Tlusty was sixth at 32.22. Rib Lake freshman Kloey Paul was ninth at 32.46. Prentice freshman Lauren Geiger was 11th at 37.00. Freshman teammate Madison Holm was 12th at 37.21, and junior teammate Chloe Bittner was 13th with 39.53.

    In the girls 3,200 meter run, Prentice sophomore Kylie Orysen was first with a time of 12:38.97. Waupaca junior Waupaca was second at 12:40.21.

    In the girls 4x380 meter relay, Wittenberg-Birnamwood was first with a time of 4:26.69, followed by Rhinelander at 4:37.69, Merrill at 4:55.14, Waupaca at 4:58.50, and Prentice in fifth at 5:03.26.

    BOYS

    In the boys shot put, Waupaca senior Trayse Hanson was first with a mark of 36-7.50.

    For Prentice, sophomore Michael Bant was ninth, and Dominic VanGroll was 12th.

    Rib Lake freshman Isaiah Hubbard was 13th and freshman teammate Clinton Peterson was 14th.

    In the boys high jump, Rhinelander junior Truman Lamers was first with a mark of 5-10.

    Prentice junior Logan Geiger was third with 5-4.

    Rib Lake freshman Riley Schatz was ninth with 4-4.

    In the boys pole vault, Waupaca junior Darek Trzebiatowski was first with a mark of 12-6. Merrill senior Kekoa Schuetze was second with 9-0, and senior teammate Carson Schmitz was third with 8-0.

    In the boys long jump, Waupaca sophomore Brody Woitczak was first with a mark of 17-10.50. Rib Lake sophomore Gus Zuleger was a close second at 17-10, and Prentice junior Logan Geiger was a close third at 16-11.50.

    Rib Lake freshman Riley Johnson was 10th, and freshman teammate Alan Head was 12th. Prentice junior Brier Ahlers was 14th.

    In the boys triple jump, Waupaca junior Lukas Soto was first with a mark of 36-10. Prentice junior Logan Geiger was fifth with 33-6, and Rib Lake sophomore Gus Zuleger was seventh with 32-7.

    Rib Lake won the boys 4x765 meter relay with a time of 9:05.39.

    In the boys 50 meter dash, Merrill sophomore Jace Olson was first with a time of 6.08. Prentice junior Andrew White was fifth with 6.64, and Rib Lake senior Demetrio Garelli was eighth at 7.25.

    In the boys 1,600 meter run, Waupaca sophomore Gus Olson was first with a time of 5:07.19. Rib Lake freshman Henry Regier was second with 5:08.89, and junior teammate Connor Highfill was fifth with 5:24.40.

    Waupaca won the boys 4x228 meter relay with a time of 2:12.65. Merrill was a close second with 2:12.83, and Rhinelander was third with 2:28.60.

    In the boys 400 meter dash, Rib Lake freshman Kaleb Scott was first with a time of 57.20. Prentice junior Matthew Schmidt was close second with 57.28. Rib Lake freshman Riley Johnson was sixth at 1:06.60. Prentice junior Brier Ahlers was 10th with 1:12.34, and junior teammate Dominic VanGroll was 13th at 1:42.34.

    Rhinelander won the boys 4x152 meter relay with a time of 1:19.89. Merrill was second with 1:21.94, and Waupaca was third at 1:22.59.

    In the boys 50 meter hurdle, Rhinelander senior Abraham Barlog was first with a time of 9.00. Prentice junior Andrew White was second with 9.64.

    In the boys 800 meter run, Rib Lake junior Jack Regier was first with a time of 2:24.15. Freshman teammate Henry Regier was second with 2:28.33. Prentice junior Matthew Schmidt was sixth at 2:40.72.

    In the boys 200 meter dash, Rhinelander sophomore Samuel Zwaard was first with a time of 26.28. Prentice junior Matthew Schmidt was fifth with 27.25. Rib Lake senior Demetrio Garelli was ninth at 29.03. Prentice junior Andrew White tied for 10th with 29.44. Rib Lake freshman Isaiah Hubbard was 12th at 30.33. Prentice junior Brier Ahlers was 13th with 31.25, and Rib Lake freshman Riley Schatz was 15th at 31.76.

    In the boys 3,200 meter run, Waupaca junior Ian Sherman was first with a time of 10:53.32, and sophomore teammate Gus Olson was second at 11:39.14. Prentice junior Connor Highfill was third with 12:24.26.

    Rhinelander won the boys 4x380 meter relay with a time of 4:06. Merrill was second at 4:08.26.
