Middle School Students of the Month

The Phillips Public School District has announced the middle school Students of the Month for March.

GRADE 6: Ella Vollendorf, daughter of Anna and Brad Vollendorf, participates in cross country, basketball, and track. She believes that being kind to all and being helpful and respectful is why she was selected for the honor. Her favorite part of middle school is hanging out with her friends.

GRADE 7: Maddy Macholl, daughter of Rebecca Spets and Jerrad Macholl, has many interests including drawing, softball, four-wheeling, spending time in the woods and with animals, and anything social studies. Her favorite part of middle school is being with her friends and getting to learn new things every day.

GRADE 8: Ada Meives, daughter of Sarah and Mitch Meives, enjoys playing volleyball and softball, reading and goofing off with friends. She said being the class clown may have helped get selected for the honor but also because she gets her work done. Her favorite part of middle school is hanging out with her friends and going to Mr. Hoogland’s class.
