Eagles place at Holy Cow

Chequamegon athletes excelled at the Holy Cow track and field meet held at Stratford High School on April 15.

GIRLS

Chequamegon senior Autumn Michalski won the girls 800 meter run with a time of 2:18.83, and won the 1,600 meter run with a time of 5:08.56. In a less frequent sprinting appearance, Michalski also ran the 400 meter dash, where she placed second at 1:01.06, behind Meredith Richter of Medford Area Schools with 59.95.

Abigail Humphrey of Chequamegon won the girls 3,200 meter run with 14:39.66.

Brianna Sherden of Stratford won the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.82. No Chequamegon runners competed.

Brianna Sherden of Stratford won the 200 meter dash with 26.88. There were no Chequamegon runners.

Jaylin Machon of Medford Area Schools won the girls 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.83. Audrina Damrow of Chequamegon was fifth with 22.70.

Dawnyel Martin of Stratford won the girls 300 meter hurdles with 51.95. Clare Yunk of Chequamegon was fifth with 1:00.33.

Stratford won the girls 4x100 meter relay with 53.52. The runners were Sadie Weigel, Dawnyel Martin, Hailey Fecker and Brianna Sherden. Chequamegon was fourth at 1:00.72. The runners were Ella Weinberger, Tatyanna Tesmer, Audrina Damrow and Carla Akriba-Rodriguez.

Medford Area Schools won the girls 4x200 meter relay with 1:54.93. The runners were Alexis Zuleger, Jaylin Machon, Aliyah Pilgrim and Rivalee Stokes.

Chequamegon finished fifth at 2:09.94. The runners were Abigail Humphrey, Tatyanna Tesmer, Clare Yunk and Mallory Smith.

Medford Area Schools won the Girls 4x400 Meter Relay with 4:37.36. The runners were Aliyah Pilgrim, Meredith Richter, Morgan Liske and Toryn Rau.

Chequamegon was third with 5:48.37. The runners were Tatyanna Tesmer, Clare Yunk, Carla Akriba-Rodriguez and Kalaniva Salvador.

Medford Area Schools won the girls 4x800 meter relay with a time of 11:24.87. The runners included Felicity Ziehlke, Ella Dassow, Carly Koski and Toryn Rau.

Chequamegon was fourth with 15:59.76. The runners included Carla Akriba-Rodriguez, Leelan Carroll, Abigail Humphrey and Kalaniva Salvador.

Marissa Flannery of Crandon won the high jump with a 4-06. Ella Weinberger of Chequamegon was fourth with a 4-00. Teammate Tatyanna Tesmer was sixth with a 3-06.

Malaina Telschow of Athens won the girl's pole vault with a 10-06 jump. Clare Yunk of Chequamegon was eighth with a 7-00 jump.

Emily Rundle of Stratford won the girls triple jump with 32-01. Mallory Smith of Chequamegon was seventh with 25-08.50.

Brianna Sherden of Stratford won the girls long jump with 15-09.75. Mallory Smith of Chequamegon was ninth with 12-05. Teammate Ella Weinberger was 13th with 10-11.75.

Rivalee Stokes of Medford Area Schools won the girls discus throw with 108-05. Kalaniva Salvador of Chequamegon was 14th with 52-05.

Peyton Drexler of Stratford won the girls shot put with 28-10.50. Salvador was 13th with 19-00.

BOYS

Robert Schienebeck of Chequamegon won the boys 300 meter hurdles with 44.11. Teammates RJ Salvador and Winter Edberg finished ninth and 10th.

Chequamegon swept the first three spots in the boys discus throw starting with AJ Morgan in first with a throw of 130-11. Teammate Greg Morgan was second with a throw of 128-09, and Jeremiah Miguel was third with 105-04. Another Chequamegon teammate, Ian Schloer, placed 12th.

Caleb Scoles of Medford Area Schools won the boys 400 meter dash with 54.96. Jarrett Heckendorf of Chequamegon was second with 55.18. Teammates Noah Siegmann and Harrison Graceffa finished 11th and 12th.

Will Daniels of Medford Area Schools won the boys 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.72. Robert Schienebeck of Chequamegon was second with 17.82. Teammate RJ Salvador was third with 20.40, and Winter Edberg was fifth with 20.91.

Curtis, Brandon of Medford Area Schools won the boys 3200 meter run with 11:31.80. Jayden Oscar of Chequamegon was second with 11:44.82. Teammate Zac Roberts was fifth with 12:09.54.

Koehler Kilty of Stratford won the boys shot put with 48-07.50. AJ Morgan of Chequamegon was second with 44-06.50. Teammate Greg Morgan was fourth with 39-00. Teammates Ian Schloer and Evan Carlson were 14th and 15th.

Jett Schoenherr of Stratford won the boys 100 meter dash with 11.06. Judah Johnson of Chequamegon was seventh with 12.54. Teammates Frank Kief and Harrison Graceffa were 11th and 12th.

Ryan Peel of Athens won the boys pole vault with a 13-06 jump. Winter Edberg of Chequamegon tied for fifth with 9-06. Teammate Frank Kief was sixth with 9-00.

Xander Curtice of Stratford won the boys high jumps with 6-00. Jarrett Heckendorf of Chequamegon was sixth with 5-00.

Coltan Breit of Stratford won the boys long jump with 19-09.25. Judah Johnson of Chequamegon was eighth with 16-03.50. Teammates Jackson Ernst and Noah Siegmann were 11th and 12th.

Evan Paul of Medford Area Schools won the boys triple jump with 40-11.25. RJ Salvador of Chequamegon was eighth with 32-01.75. Teammates Zac Roberts and Jayden Oscar were 11th and 12th.

Stratford won the boys 4x100 meter relay with 43.57. The runners were Payton Glenn, Zander Zawislan, Coltan Breit and Jett Schoenherr. Chequamegon placed third with 50.10. The runners were Jackson Ernst, Harland Kasowicz, Judah Johnson and RJ Salvador.

Stratford won the boys 4x200 meter relay with 1:34.24. The runners were Payton Glenn, Zander Zawislan, Coltan Breit and Cole Tichy. Chequamegon placed third at 1:44.57. The runners were Jackson Ernst, Harland Kasowicz, Judah Johnson and Jeremiah Miguel.

Medford Area Schools won the boys 4x400 meter relay with 3:43.69. The runners were Gage Losiewicz, Adyn Gripentrog, Hayden Koester and Logan Gubser. Chequamegon was fourth with 4:18.24. The runners were Jackson Ernst, Jarrett Heckendorf, Cooper Michalski and Robert Schienebeck.

Athens won the boys 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:38.73. The runners were Andrew Schaer, Isaac Bushman, Eli Paul and Drew Haines. Chequamegon placed third with 10:02.91. The runners were Austin Hoffman, Zac Roberts, Winter Edberg and Jayden Oscar.

Taylor Karcz of Crandon won the boys 1,600 meter run with a time of 4:32.93. Cooper Michalski of Chequamegon was seventh with 5:29.22, and teammate Austin Hoffman was ninth with 5:38.21.

Jett Schoenherr of Stratford won the boys 200 meter dash with 22.50. Chequamegon runners Harland Kasowicz, Noah Siegmann and Jeremiah Miguel finished ninth, 10th and 11th.
