County D work starts Thursday

Pulverizing and grading work on a section of County Highway D will require lane reduction with a flag worker starting Thursday, June 13, according to an announcement from the Price County Highway Department.

The work zone is located from Chequamegon Drive going south for 1.4 miles. County D will be limited to one lane of traffic in the work zone from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the speed limit reduced to 35 mph for the duration of the project.

The work period is dependent on the weather. Motorists are asked to allow extra time for the commute.
