    PARK FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT

    The Park Falls Police Department reported public calls from July 15-21, 2024.

    JULY 15• 9:53 a.m., phone scam attempt reported for record.

    • 12:30 p.m., welfare check request.

    • 12:50 p.m., vehicle lockout assist.

    • a reported rifle laying on the porch of a First Avenue North residence turned out to be a BB gun.

    JULY 16• 6:30 a.m., injunction order violation complaint — unfounded.

    • 1:50 p.m., ambulance assist.

    • 3:47 p.m., vehicle and ATV crash with property damage but no injuries.

    • 3:59 p.m., lost/found property.

    • telephone harassment complaint regarding a property disagreement.

    • a suspicious person complaint in the area of the U.S. Forest Service building resulted in a courtesy ride to cabin rental.

    JULY 17• 10:45 a.m., a traffic complaint turned out to be strong wind making a box truck difficult to drive.

    • a toxic odor complaint turned out to be a resident legally burning a tree stump.

    JULY 18• 4:35 p.m., ambulance assist.

    • 8 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in confiscation of drug paraphernalia, THC and a firearm.

    • rollover crash with injury involving a 2005 Arctic Cat ATV. The driver was transported to MMC-Park Falls and was cited for several moving violations..

    JULY 19• 8 a.m., community service.

    • 9:30 a.m., pedestrian complaint of dogs coming from a nearby property and chasing her on Ninth Avenue South at Second Street.

    • 3 p.m., vehicle lockout assist.

    • 4 p.m., keep the peace request.

    • 9:14 p.m., suspicious situation.

    • investigating a theft of more than $100 in merchandise from Super One Foods.

    • hit and run complaint on Third Avenue South.

    JULY 20• 9:38 a.m., a panic alarm was accidentally tripped at a gas station.

    • 10:20 a.m., assisted the Price County Sheriff’s Office in photographing a suspected vehicle that was involved in multiple hit and runs in Phillips.

    • 1:34 p.m., a traffic complaint of a possible intoxicated driver who was stopped in Fifield for driving on the centerline. The driver was not intoxicated but was very loud and angry. No citations were given.

    • assisted the Price County Sheriff’s Office in a traffic stop that resulted in an arrest.

    • a domestic abuse complaint from the victim.

    • a traffic stop resulted in multiple citations.

    JULY 21• 9 a.m., dog at large complaint.

    • a no-drinking order violation complaint.

    • a keep the peace request after a complaint of an individual throwing a burnt log at a person.
