POLICE: Suspect in custody after high-speed chase through Whitehouse, Tyler and Chapel Hill
WHITEHOUSE, Texas — A suspect is now in custody after a alleged forgery attempt at a Whitehouse bank turned into a high-speed chase. Tasha Hudson, 35, has been arrested after a police pursuit ended near Chapel Hill. According to Smith County Sheriff's Office, Whitehouse police were called to the Southside Bank in Whitehouse for a potential forgery. When officers arrived, Hudson fled the scene and a pursuit began.
Proposed Longview budget $2M lower than current year
LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Thursday evening, City Manager Rolin McPhee proposed a $215,048,854 budget to the Longview City Council for the upcoming 2024-2025 fiscal year. Former Upshur County bail bondsman arrested on drug, gun charges
UPSHUR COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A former bail bondsman was arrested in Upshur County on Tuesday for gun and drug related charges, police say. Rachel Shannon Rosser-Barnett, 50, of Diana, was arrested on Tuesday on two drug charges and a gun charge after law enforcement visited her home on an unrelated call, a Thursday press release said. According to the release, Rosser was previously a bail bondsman in the county.
