First performer is last to take the stage before Mobile's Civic Center Theatre demolition
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — After 60 years serving the citizens of Mobile, Thursday night the old Mobile Civic Center Theatre saw its last production. "Play It Just One More Time" was a dance tribute to the theater, which is expected to be torn down this summer to make room for a new Mobile Civic Center Complex.

Foley and Baldwin County Join Forces to Clear Magnolia River Debris
Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – The city of Foley will be working with Baldwin County to remove material slowing drainage in the Magnolia River basin. Mayor Ralph Hellmich said the city will be working to clear the stream moving south from the bridge near Pine Rest Cemetery. Hurricane Sally left debris clogging many area waterways when the storm struck South Baldwin County in 2020.
