It is one of the coolest days of the summer, with temperatures dipping to the 40s in many spots. Expect plenty of sunshine to straighten things out this afternoon, with highs delightfully in the mid and upper 70s. Sunshine is set to continue the next several days following, which means eventually the heat is going to come back.
