Hastings man gets probation after threatening neighbors with gun, police say
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - A Hastings man received a term of four years of supervised probation after police say he threatened his neighbors with a gun. Anthony Copley, 21, pleaded no contest earlier this year to attempted possession of a firearm during a commission of a felony and terroristic threats, both felony charges.
Central Nebraska Man Sentenced for Unlawful Firearm Possession
United States Attorney Susan Lehr announced that Tesluach Gatkuoth, 27, of Grand Island, NE, was sentenced July 17, 2024, in federal court in Omaha, Nebraska for being a felon in possession of a firearm. United States District Judge Brian C. Buescher sentenced Gatkuoth to 120 months’ imprisonment. There is no parole in the federal system. After Gatkuoth’s release from prison, he will begin a 3-year term of supervised release.
