    CCSO detectives investigating shooting that left two hurt in Prince Frederick

    CALVERT COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said two people were hospitalized after a shooting outside of a home on Sunday night.

    Deputies said around 9:40 p.m., authorities were called to the 1600 block of Minto Court in Prince Frederick for reports of shots fired.

    Upon arrival, deputies found a man with a gunshot wound in the leg and a woman who had been shot several times in her upper body.

    Responders rushed both victims to the hospital for treatment. CCSO said the man was in stable condition, and the woman was in critical condition as of Sunday night.

    According to detectives, the preliminary investigation revealed that unknown suspect(s) began shooting in front of the home when both victims were hit.
