Second arrest made in connection to Evansville gas station shooting
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- A second person has been arrested in connection to a shooting that occurred over the weekend that left three people injured. Police say that Otis Rankin was taken into custody after turning himself into authorities early this morning. Rankin was a person of interest in a shooting on Sunday at the “On the Fly” gas station at the corner of Covert Avenue and South Green River Road, where three people suffered gunshot wounds, including a juvenile who sustained a serious injury.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Isaiah Swope was back in town on Tuesday, and he stopped by ND Kendrick’s youth basketball camp to speak with the kids. The Castle Grad followed his Indiana State Coach, Josh Schertz, to St. Louis. Swope had quite the year at Indiana State, averaging 15.9 points per game, starting every game, and sinking threes at a 36% clip. Lots of excitement coming up, but with all the change coming for Swope, joining a new team, there’s more than one thing to be excited for.
