    Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper shot; arrest made in Princeton

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Kentucky State Police have arrested a man in Princeton in connection to a shooting of a Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper.

    Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Adam Cothron has shot on July 19 after a traffic stop on I-40. Officials with the Kentucky State Police say during the interaction, Trooper Cothron was shot and two subjects fled in the vehicle.

    Trooper Cothron was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Kentucky State Police say he is now in stable condition.

    Braze Rucker was identified by police as one of the subjects involved in the shooting. Kentucky State Police troopers located and arrested Rucker inside a residence in Princeton.
