Motorcycle Crash in Princeton Claims Life of 15-Month-Old Child
Police are investigating a motorcycle wreck in Princeton that claimed the life of a child Friday night. Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reported that the accident occurred around 6:45 p.m. near the 300 block of Beverly Lane. He said 47-year-old Joseph Traylor of Princeton was driving a motorcycle with a 15-month-old passenger when the motorcycle ran off the road and struck a telephone pole.

Independence Day on the square, Simpson County celebrates the holiday
FRANKLIN, Ky. – It fell off for a few years but now is back on its fifth successful run, the Franklin-Simpson Independence Day Parade. It was hot out but a big crowd came out to celebrate the Fourth of July, watching dozens of cars, trucks and tractors drive through town to the square.
