3 killed, others injured in multi-vehicle crash on I-24 in Livingston Co.
WESTERN Ky. (KFVS) - The Kentucky State Police report three people died in a multi-vehicle crash in Livingston County on Monday. According to KSP, a semi-truck driven by 24-year-old Mansur Kholikov of Brooklyn, New York, was traveling westbound on I-24 when traffic began to slow down near the 32-mile marker. However, for reasons still under investigation, KSP said Kholikov‘s vehicle did not slow down.

McAlister’s Deli Taps Hopkinsville For Newest Location
The former Pizza Hut location in front of Lowe’s in Hopkinsville which closed in December 2020, will soon have a new lease on life. Brogan Davis from GoTo Foods confirmed to Your News Edge Monday afternoon that McAlister’s Deli will take over the building at 4576 Fort Campbell Boulevard. Davis added the tentative opening date for the location will be Monday, October 14th, but renovation delays could push that back.
Sportsplex in Hopkinsville holds first Buddy Ball basketball camp for kids with special needs
HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation hosted the city’s first Buddy Ball basketball camp at the Planters Band-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex. The free camp featured basic instructions on the foundations of basketball, allowing each participant to walk through the lessons at their own pace with a dedicated volunteer.
Identities of two men killed in boat crash in Falls of Rough released
The identities of the two men who perished in a boat crash in Falls of Rough have been released. David N. Stomberger, 46, of Crestwood, and Eric P. Derloshon, 51, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, were both killed in the crash that happened Sunday morning at approximately 12:30 when a bass boat, containing two Grayson County men, crashed into a pontoon boat containing several people on Rough River Lake in the Cave Creek area of the park.
