    Princeton indoor walking

    From now until May 29, 2024. Brought to you by Age-Friendly Princeton: Creating a Community Center Without Walls. The locations are open to the public and please wear clean, dry shoes. The following are the participating locations: Beyond Sport Princeton Fitness Monday - Thursday from 6 a.m. - 8 p.m., Friday. 6 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.. See staff for walking pass. Princeton Evangelical Free Church Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.. Enter through the drive-up office entrance. Elevator to access gym if needed. Princeton Ice Arena Mondays - Fridays 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sign in upon entry. Two paths: one with stairs, one without. Princeton Middle and High Schools Mondays - Fridays 4 - 8 p.m. Purchase $10 pass for the season through Community Education.

    Gathering and games

    A gathering of adults ages 50+ to play games, go for a walk and connect. Brought to you by Age-Friendly Princeton: Creating a Community Center Without Walls. Now until May 29, 2024 on Mondays from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Princeton Evangelical Free Church, 12140 317th Ave NW. Other dates include Wednesdays from 1 - 3 p.m. at the following locations: Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 8938 33rd St. for the first and third Wednesdays and Senior Dining, 604 S 3rd St. for the second and fourth Wednesdays.

    Day trip to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater

    Join Come Travel With Me for a day out at the Chanhassen Dinner theater to see “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” on June 5. A true story of Carole King’s remarkable journey from teenage songwriter to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame music legend & hear many of her greatest hits. This all-inclusive trip costs $117 and includes coach transportation, lunch (choice of entrée/meal, warm bread w/butter, coffee, tea or milk), show, sales tax, and gratuity.     Grief Support Group

    A six-week grief support group will meet from 1:00-2:30 pm on May 29, June 5, and 12 at the Mille Lacs County Historical Depot. This group allows people who have experienced the death of a loved one to come together in a supportive environment and learn ways to cope with their loss.     Caregiver Support Group

    Are you a caregiver? A new Caregiver Support Group will be starting in May. Please join us to share, connect, learn about available resources, and find support on your caregiving journey. This free group will be held from 1:00- 2:30 p.m. the second Monday of each month at Elim Oasis/Freshwaters Church 112 N. 7th Ave. Princeton. For more information call Julie Schoen at 763-389-5645.
