DNR officer report June 27

District 10 - Mille Lacs area

- CO Victoria Griffith (Isle) spent time following up on ongoing cases. Angling and ATV-riding activities were monitored in the area. Enforcement action was taken on angling violations.

- CO Dan Starr (Onamia) took calls of high water and beaver problems. An investigation of a pack of wolves killing cattle was worked on, with efforts to find some vanished calves ongoing. Work planning for upcoming Division priorities was also completed.

District 12 - Princeton area

- CO Ryan Hanna (Milaca) was on patrol on Little Elk Lake when he noticed a line in the water, but no one was around. A sunfish was cut in half next to the line. During the investigation, Hanna noted illegal bait, extra lines, an unattended line, and fishing without a license.
