New Date and Time Announced for Annual Piscataway Bike Rodeo
PISCATAWAY, NJ – Safe bicycle riding is the theme of this year’s annual Bike Rodeo. Piscataway families are invited to bring their bikes to the free event on Tuesday, July 30 from 6-7:30 pm at the Little League Complex, 495 Sidney Road.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Bicyclists young and old will be able to test their skills in bike games and challenges, and community partners will be on hand to provide safety tips and basic bike repairs, and several raffles will be held with chances to win new bicycles. Plainfield Police Encourage Residents to Lock Car Doors, Keep Items Out of View
PLAINFIELD, NJ — Starting Tuesday last week, the Plainfield Police Department began to encourage Plainfield residents to lock their cars and hide items from view. "Lock your cars after exiting," reads the statement that has been posted on the city's Facebook page two more times since the initial warning. "When leaving vehicles, please place all items out of view. We’re experiencing an uptick in the theft of personal items from unlocked vehicles, and we want to keep your property safe." Clark, NJ — A single-vehicle accident occurred on the Hyatt Hills Golf Course, located at 1300 Raritan Rd, Sunday evening.
