PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — A dump truck reportedly drove through a home in the Princeton area of Mercer County on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

According to the homeowner the truck ran into his home on Washington Avenue right around 1 PM. 59News is on scene as they are attempting to remove the truck.

Garnett Clinebell, son of the homeowner, said the crash happened in the blink of an eye.

“We just had left, not been gone maybe three of four minutes at the most. Got a phone call and said a dump truck was in our house. Sure enough, it was all up in it and knocked it off the foundation. Broke the gas line, water line, sewer line,” said Clinebell to 59News.

No injuries have been reported at this time. Washington Avenue does remain open, however, drivers should still remain cautious when travelling through the area.
