    Reward offered in Kee Street shooting investigation

    PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — A $10,000 cash reward is being offered by the family of a man who was killed in a shooting on Kee Street in Princeton on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

    According to the Princeton Police Department, the family of Shaileshbhai “Sam” Patel is offering a $10,000 cash reward for any information about the incident that could lead to an arrest.

    Deadly shooting in Mercer County under investigation

    Members of the Princeton Police Department responded to a shooting on Kee Street in the Princeton area of Mercer County at around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Once members of law enforcement arrived on scene, they found that 52-year-old Shaileshbhai Patel was shot in the chest, and Patel died from his injuries at the scene.

    Anyone with information can contact the Princeton Police Department Criminal Investigations Bureau at 304-487-5000, or the non-emergency line to the Mercer 911 Center at 304-425-8911, and callers can remain anonymous.
