Recovery Point WV beating the heat with sponges and rags

PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) – One local organization is beating the heat for a good cause.

Recovery Point West Virginia is hosting a car wash for the next four weeks in Princeton.

This event is to raise money for Recovery Point’s Bluefield, West Virginia facility.

Recovery Point West Virginia offers rehabilitation services for drug and alcohol use.

Jordan Brammer, Program Coordinator for Recovery Point in Bluefield, West Virginia, expressed that his guys are getting a great opportunity, even in the heat.

“It gets them to work together. It gets them outside of the building. It just gets them doing outside physical activity and it creates bonds between the guys,” said Brammer to 59News.

The car washes are located outside of the O’Reilly Auto Parts in Princeton, Mercer County.

Brammer said this event depends on weather as well.
